Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Amazonia Tech collects, how we use it, and the rights you have under the EU GDPR and the Brazilian LGPD. Last updated: May 2026.

1. Joint controllers

Amazonia Tech is operated jointly by two legal entities, each acting as data controller for processing relating to its jurisdiction:

  • Marcos Antonio Oliveira Ramos — Consultant — Berlin, Germany. USt-IdNr DE361381021. Acts as controller for processing relating to EU/EEA-based contacts and clients.
  • MS RAMOS ADVISORS LTDA — São Paulo, Brazil. CNPJ 52.135.108/0001-95. Acts as controller for processing relating to Brazilian and LATAM-based contacts and clients.

Contact point for both: hello@amazoniatech.io.

2. Personal data we collect

  • Contact data you provide via the contact form, email, or LinkedIn (name, work email, company, role, message content).
  • Account data for users of Operations Manager and AI Operations Manager — managed under separate Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
  • Technical data from your visit: IP address (truncated for analytics), user agent, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location at country level.
  • Cookies: see section 7. We do not use advertising cookies. Analytics, if enabled, is privacy-friendly and anonymous (Plausible-style).

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Responding to your enquiry — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contract) and LGPD Art. 7, II / V.
  • Delivering services under a signed agreement — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR / LGPD Art. 7, V.
  • Operating and securing the website — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest) / LGPD Art. 7, IX.
  • Complying with tax and corporate law in Germany and Brazil — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR / LGPD Art. 7, II.

4. Sharing and sub-processors

We do not sell personal data. We work with a small set of sub-processors strictly to operate the business — hosting, email delivery, payments, analytics. Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA or Brazil, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, supplementary measures.

A current list of sub-processors is available on request from hello@amazoniatech.io.

5. Retention

We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we have a legal obligation to retain it longer (typically 10 years for tax records in Germany and 5 years for LGPD-relevant records in Brazil). Product user data is retained under the terms of the relevant DPA.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR and LGPD you have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority — for example, the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz (Germany) or the ANPD (Brazil).

To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@amazoniatech.io.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the site (session, preferences). If we enable analytics, it is a privacy-friendly tool that does not set tracking cookies or collect personal identifiers. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.
